How it works:
1. Order outside of Japan, receive your exchange order and bring this order (voucher) with you on your trip.
2. Exchange the order in Japan and receive/activate the Pass on your preferred date.
3. Enjoy unlimited travel on all JR services and more, without having to buy separate tickets every time.

Know before Purchase

  • It is VITAL that you fill in your name FULLY as written in your PASSPORT. It should include any given names, middle names and official surname(s).

  • This service is valid for those who will visit Japan on a tourist-visa (NOT on student visa, working permit etc.) and non-japanese passport holders.

  • This pass is personal and can only be used by the person whose name is written on the pass.

  • It is not possible to buy this pass more than 3 months ahead of your trip.

  • Unlike the other passes such as Nationwide JR Pass, for this one you will receive digital voucher and the exchange date should not be estimation but ACTUAL exchange date.

  • Valid for 6 consecutive days.

Cancellation Policy

  • Area Passes are non-changeable and non-refundable.
