The Hida region, located in central Japan, has some of the most renowned landmarks in the country such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go village, the town of Takayama with its characteristic traditional architecture, and the several high and beautiful mountains that surround the entire region (known as the Japanese Alps). The area also has a vibrant countryside feel to it, with communities focused on sustainable farming, environmentally consciousness solutions to local problems, and supporting one another.
Introduce yourself to this part of Japan by learning through an enthusiastic local expert from the Hida region itself! During this webinar you will not only be introduced to general information on the region, but also facts, tips and tricks, which only a Hida local can tell you.
